There are two ways to display content from your laptop to the display.

  1. Duplicate - This copies your laptop monitor to the display so you and your students see the same thing.
  2. Extend - This adds the display to your laptop as a second monitor so you and your students see different things. The display is logically positioned to the right of your laptop monitor, so you will need to move your cursor to the right on your monitor to see it on the display.


Hold the Windows key (left of the space bar) and press the P key to switch between four options. Pressing this combination of keys will toggle between these four options. You may also your mouse to select the desired option.

  • PC screen only
  • Duplicate (most used)
  • Extend
  • Second screen only (rarely used)
