Your Google Drive should be visible in the Windows Explorer (This PC) alongside your C drive (local disk). It is named "Google Drive (G:)". If it is not visible then the Google Drive software is not running on your computer or you are not logged in to the software.
First, check the System Tray, in the bottom right corner of your screen near the clock. Locate the Google Drive icon.
Gray icon indicates Google Drive is running but not logged in
White icon indicates Google Drive is running and logged in
- No icon- Google Drive is not running
If Google Drive is not running (no icon):
- Click Start
- Click All Programs
- Select Google Drive (if it isn't there, you will need to download it here)
- Log into the software (see below)
If Google Drive is running, but not logged in (gray icon):
- Locate the gray icon in the System Tray and right click on it
- Click sign in and follow the prompts to log in to the software using your Hampton Park email address
